  1. I was a bit disappointed as I saw “The reconstruction of the missing fourth episode using audio, stills and surviving clips, which featured on the BBC Video VHS release of the story back in 2000”, but missed that they list the animated episode too! I’m more looking forward to The Moonbase.

  2. Actually it doesn’t say anywhere in the press release that episode four has been animated. In February the animation was announced and you can read about it at http://www.doctorwho.tv/whats-new/article/classic-doctor-who-to-be-animated-for-dvd-release. The animation just appears to have been left out of the press release by accident, however it’s already lead to rumours that the episode has been recovered. I’m not holding my breath though 🙂
